HOW TO TATTOO FEST
The Truly Yours Tattoo Fest is just around the corner. Everyone should feel comfortable. Everyone should have fun. Here is our guide to making that happen.
1. Safe Space and Stance
Creating a safe space is our top priority. The Truly Yours Tattoo Fest stands for respect, diversity, and mutual consideration. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding fascist, racist, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory attitudes and behaviors. Everyone should feel safe, welcome, and valued in our space. Please be mindful of your language, respect boundaries, and treat one another responsibly. Any violation of these boundaries will result in exclusion from the event.
2. Respect and Privacy
Getting tattooed is an intimate experience. Please do not take photos or videos without the explicit consent of both the person being tattooed and the tattoo artist(s). Respect personal boundaries, privacy, and work areas. Consent is paramount.
3. Crew & Communication
If you feel uncomfortable, witness discriminatory behavior, or require assistance, please speak to our Awareness Team or any member of the crew. You can identify the crew by their shirts. Communication is important to us; please reach out at any time if you feel uncomfortable, witness or experience a boundary violation, or if something just doesn’t feel right—do not hesitate to approach us. We are here to ensure your experience is safe and positive.
4. Food & Drinks
Bringing your own food and drinks into the indoor areas of the event venue is not permitted. A wide variety of food options will be available in the outdoor area; however, for hygiene reasons, these items must also be consumed exclusively in the outdoor area. Additionally, drinks will be available for purchase in both the indoor and outdoor areas of the Truly Yours Tattoo Fest. You are, of course, welcome to bring an empty water bottle and refill it on-site. If you require medication, have dietary intolerances, or need to bring your own food for health-related reasons, please speak to us at the entrance. Together, we will find a solution.
